Resistance thermometers with connectors is particularly useful when a quick connection to the process is needed and/or in case extension cables are required.
 
The connector feature simplifies and speeds up the connection and/or disconnection of the temperature probe making it more functional in general applications, laboratories, plastics/packaging, climatic test chambers. 

Mineral oxide (MgO) insulation provides greater protection against thermal shock and greater resistance to vibration.
