Through the EU Type Examination Certificate XEF 18 ATEX 0015 X for ASPT-H / ASTC-H / ASTC-G Series temperature sensors (RTD and thermocouples) we can build Atex protection thermometer assemblies intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres - Directive 2014/34/EU Annex III. The main safety protection is the explosion-proof Ex d through the use of a special case with the possibility of adding the intrinsic Ex ia safety feature through Atex certified temperature transmitters. Atex temperature probes can be used in different fields of application such as oil & gas, chemical, food storage, control of overheating gears and bearings etc. with a combination of protection type according to the Atex marking strings for both gas and powders.
With reference to the above mentioned marking strings our ATEX thermometric units can be installed in explosive atmospheres due to the presence of a mixture of flammable gases, vapors or mists in zone 0, 1 and 2 and in explosive atmospheres due to the presence of combustible powders in zone 20/21, 21 e 22.
