The IP67 aluminum connection head has the function of isolating and protecting the internal electrical connections (ceramic terminals block or temperature transmitters) from process conditions (water, chemical agents, atmospheric agents, steam, etc.) allowing, through the dedicated inlet equipped with cable gland, to wire the connection cable. 

The broad choice of materials and the different diameters of the outer sheath make the resistance thermometer with case suitable for various uses in general and industrial applications easily interfaced with the working process through fittings (see Accessories for temperature probes)
